Oudh Green

Oudh Green, we say green because it's harvested from young new growth Aquilaria malaccensis trees plantation grown. These young trees are guarded with love and care. Essential oil/Perfume extraction of these young fragile trees offers the most affordable Oudh. The green note scents throughout the Top notes settle into a comforting harmonious sharp mossy Middle note drying down into the elegant earthy woody Bottom note. This is all captured before the tree is seven years, scared to induce infection causing fragrance, when emited the fungus which sets in to protect itself from insect infestation and further harm  is greener and sharper in younger trees. Extracting this fungus/mold in oil form is what makes older aged  trees so desirable and expensive.We're sure the older perfumers from generations ago were aware of this technique and utilized the green oudh in the manufacture of fine fragrances.
